Terms of Use
Version 2026-08-18 · Effective August 18, 2026
These terms govern your use of Disciplytics, the ministry analytics service operated by Disciplytics, LLC.
1. Who you are contracting with
Disciplytics is a ministry analytics service for churches, operated by Disciplytics, LLC ("Disciplytics", "we", "us"), a limited liability company. It reads information from your Planning Center account, stores it, and turns it into dashboards, forecasts, and survey summaries for your leadership team.
These terms are an agreement between your church (the "Church") and Disciplytics, LLC. By creating a workspace or continuing to use the service you agree to them. The person who creates a workspace accepts them on behalf of the Church and confirms they are authorized to do so and of legal age.
2. Your data stays yours
The Church owns its Planning Center data and its survey responses. Disciplytics stores and processes that information to provide the service to you.
You can disconnect Planning Center at any time from Settings, which stops future syncing. You can ask us to delete your workspace and its data, and we will remove it.
3. The Planning Center connection
An admin authorizes the connection through Planning Center. Disciplytics uses that authorization to read the records needed for the dashboards you use:
- Giving: donations, funds, and donor records used to build aggregate totals
- People: names, contact details, membership, campus, household, and address fields
- Check-Ins: headcounts and check-in records used for attendance
- Groups and Services: group membership and serving assignments used for engagement
4. How results are reported
Reporting in Disciplytics is aggregate. The app does not show individual donor names or donor-level giving lists, and it does not show any individual survey submission.
Survey results are only reported for groups of at least five responses. Household maps and community views suppress small groups for the same reason.
5. Your team and your responsibilities
Admins choose who to invite and what role each person holds. The Church is responsible for who has access, for keeping accounts secure, and for using the information pastorally and lawfully.
You agree not to use Disciplytics to attempt to re-identify individual survey respondents, to circumvent the aggregation and suppression rules, or to access another church's workspace.
6. Congregational surveys
When you send a survey, respondents are shown a notice explaining what is collected and how it is used, and they must acknowledge it before submitting. Their acknowledgement is recorded with the submission.
The Church is responsible for the questions it asks and for handling what it learns with care.
7. Subscription, billing, and cancellation
Disciplytics is offered by Disciplytics, LLC on a pay-what-you-want monthly subscription, starting with a free trial that requires no card. After the trial, an active subscription is required for full access.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
You may cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
7a. Misuse of the service
You agree not to misuse Disciplytics. In particular, you must not:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of applicable data protection law
- commit fraud, send spam, or misrepresent who you are
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights
- interfere with the security of the service — no malware, probing, penetration testing, scraping, or circumventing technical limits
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service or its output as your own product
7b. Our intellectual property
Disciplytics, LLC retains all ownership of the service, including its software, models, documentation, and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your subscribed plan for your church's own purposes.
7c. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Where practical we will notify you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. On termination you may request an export of your data before it is deleted.
8. Availability and limits
We work to keep Disciplytics available and accurate, but the service is provided as-is. Forecasts, cohorts, and other estimates are decision support, not guarantees. Please use pastoral judgment alongside them.
Disciplytics is not liable for decisions made from the analytics, and our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before a claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Each version carries a date, and when the terms change, workspace admins are asked to review and accept the new version before continuing.
Every acceptance is recorded with the accepting admin, the version, the date and time, and the network address and browser used, so both sides have a clear record.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to jacob.vandergriff@disciplytics.com.
Workspace admins accept these terms in-app, and each acceptance is recorded with the version and date.
