Assignments

Who should carry each household, is the pastoral care we said we would do actually happening, and who is carrying it?

Assignments is where pastoral work is handed out and tracked. It is a rollup of the same care queue, not a new set of numbers: how many households need attention, how many have an owner, how many nobody has taken yet, and how many have gone quiet since someone claimed them. Households with no owner sit at the top, because giving them to someone is the point of the page. Whoever receives one works it on their own care list.

"Gone quiet" means a household was assigned more than 14 days ago and no outreach has been recorded since. Recording a private note is deliberately not outreach, so a note never makes a family look contacted. Snoozed, dismissed and completed households drop out here exactly as they do on the care list, so the counts always agree.

Carrying
How many households needing attention that teammate has taken. A shared household counts for each owner.
Contacted
Assigned households where someone recorded outreach in the last 30 days.
Gone quiet
Assigned over 14 days ago with nothing recorded since. It is a prompt to check in with the teammate, not a judgment.

Everyone on the team is listed, including people carrying nothing, so spare capacity is as visible as overload. Unassigned households can be handed out straight from this page. Pastors and Staff can also pick up unclaimed households themselves from their own care list, so a new teammate never has to wait for a hand-out. Roles are still changed in Settings.

Admins and Pastors can open this view, because it names households the same way the care list does. Staff and Volunteers work their own care list instead. No dollar amounts appear anywhere on the page, and the contents of private notes are never shown here.
