People
Who is on our roster, where do they gather, and who are they?
People is the roster view. It counts total people, how many are active, how many records were added in the last 90 days, and how many households those people belong to — all straight from Planning Center People, so the numbers reconcile with what your office sees.
- Where they are
- People grouped by location, from campus down through the smaller groupings recorded on their records. People with nothing set are shown separately rather than dropped.
- Demographics
- Breakdowns by segment — the share of people in each — with the option to see how many in a segment have given at least once.
- Roster status
- Active, Inactive / archived, and New (last 90 days). This is record state in Planning Center, not attendance: an active record does not mean the person was in the room.
- Households
- Distinct households on the roster, which is the unit pastoral care works in.
Read People next to Attendance rather than instead of it. A growing roster with flat attendance usually means records are being added faster than people are being connected — Connection will show you who has not taken a next step.
Example
Total people is up 8% over the year but active is flat, and one campus holds most of the new records. That is a data hygiene and follow-up question for that campus, not church-wide growth.
